![]() They do have a good defense but their offense isn't elite to me. I've played them many times offline and online and never thought they were all that. Probably rank them #6 or so but I just don't see it. Some people are probably gonna question this for not including the Seahawks. They get pressure on you and the secondary is not to be taken lightly. Their defense was so bad last year, but this year its a top 5 I think. They are a team meant to be used with an empty backfield and just have them run a medley of routes. Some people get upset online with this but I always think that you gotta go with a teams strength. No reason to, not saying that the RB's are bad but the passing attack is too good. I'll use them in offline games sometimes, and I very rarely run with them. Suh and Fairley will just eat up lines.ĥ) Saints - The offesne is out of this world. Constant pressure is the name of the game, and you don't even have to blitz with this team. The secondary is a mess, but the D-Line more than makes up for it. Weather its with his speed or size is up to you, but you cant really cover him. Make no mistake, he will beat your coverage. He has to be accounted for on every play, which is a problem with a guy called Calvin Johnson at WR. Bush is a straight weapon, running or catching. But you will be able to run on them if you have a decent line.Ĥ) Lions - Megatron, Suh, Bush. Von Miller is a straight beast and they do still have Champ so it's not like they are scrubs, far from it. The run game is suspect, and they don't have the best defense. Good offensive line, Peyton, and what can basically be seen as three #1 receivers make this team stacked. Just rediculous.ģ) Broncos - Online people really don't run too much. No one expects a DE to drop into coverage to stop a curl. I use very little man, I almost exclusively use zone blitzes that confuse offenses. The receivers aren't the biggest ones out there but they are fast and agile. Even if you get after the QB he can just scramble, forcing you to either use a spy or contain, which just gives him time in the pocket.Ģ) Steelers - I know I'm probably a little biased here, but honestly even at a 76 (currently) they are just so good. Vernon Davis is crazy scary when he does an angled route, might as well be a WR. Hard to run on and they get after the QB. This team would really benefit from another possession player, though.ġ) 49ers - Great defense. Lots of speed on the defense and a lot of depth at the LB position (maybe too much depth lol). Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck gets help from a lot of speedy WRs and one of the best height-physical stat combos in Coby Fleener. In the right hands, they can easily be the best team in the game (or one of them, they are nowhere near their Madden 2011 form). So much speed at every position makes them tough to beat. Oakland Raiders: Have been a consistently good Madden team for quite some time. ![]() San Francisco 49ers: Same as the Seahawks but question marks in other positions (CB especially). They have top players at every position with only a few question marks on the team (O-Line and WR). Seattle Seahawks: Not much needs to be said about them. The depth that they have on the roster makes them a valuable team in the game. They also have two kickers with high KPW, which is a nice bonus. Manny Lawson is only challenged by Bark Mingo as the best user LB in the game. Fantastic D-line with Kyle/Mario Williams, Dareus and Hughes. No worries at that position if someone goes down. They have tons of WR depth, from Stevie Johnson to Tommie Streeter. Chris Gragg has high 70s CIT and 90 jumping for a TE, and Scott Chandler has good hands. ![]() ![]() Spiller is a top 5 HB in the game and Fred Jackson isn't bad as a backup. They all have their different advantages.īuffalo Bills. It's hard to really make a top 5 list because there's a lot of reasons to use each and every team. I am currently 48-18 with them online.ĥ) Chiefs - Jamaal Charles and a great defense. and you never have to worry about 1 being tired because you have plenty, decent scrappy WRs, and believe it or not a damn good defense. 95 OVR QB, 5!!! good RBs to switch around with for catching, trucking, speed, ect. One thing the Patriots do well in real life is that they find ways to win. RBs are a bit weak.Ĥ) Patriots - This is the team I use the most. If you pass more than you run this is a great team for you. I couldn't give them number 1 due to the fact that the 49ers cause more fumbles.ģ) Broncos - Amazing WRs with speed, Peyton Manning, and a pretty decent defense. Even their corners and safeties cause a ton a fumbles and can completely change the game.Ģ) Seahawks - What is there not to like? mobile QB, top RB, solid WRs with a deep threat of Percy Harvin, and maybe the best secondary and pass rush in the game. They really dont have a weak point and my god their hit power is a bit over-rated. 1) 49ers - As much as I hate this team it has to be number 1. ![]()
